Michael Charles “Guitar Mike” Cullen, 63, of Ste. Genevieve County died Jan. 23, 2022, at his home. Mr. Cullen loved playing the guitar and played with several bands throughout his life. He also loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, cooking, barbequing, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others. Born Sept. 17, 1958, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Nancy Marlene (West) and Charles Richard Cullen.

He is survived by his separated wife: Janet (Kiger) Cullen; a daughter: Kathryn Cullen of Crystal City; a son: Mike Cullen of Affton; five grandchildren: Tyler, River and Riley Farris, Cash Smith and Hunter Nelms; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Jerry Pippin.

A memorial service will be held later. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
